We love riding here, and you will too! While some of our clients are looking for a fun recreational ride, others are expecting a more streamlined approach to competitions. No matter your age, level of experience, or goals - our purpose is to create an experience that leaves each rider a better horsemen.

Silver Birch’s lesson program educates riders, beginner through advanced, on the art of horsemanship.  Our farm is a classroom open to anybody with a passion for learning about horses. Along with riding skills, our students learn how to interact and communicate with their horses from the ground up, giving our riders the skills necessary to succeed in all areas of horsemanship.

Our lessons are:

  • Private, ensuring individualized attention for each rider
  • Taught on experienced show horses – Rest assured, each one is kind, gentle, and full of personality!
  • Safe – Our first priority
  • A complete experience – Lessons are much more than a quick ride. Plan to groom, tack, and care for your horse during your time together.
  • For Beginners:
    • Lessons Include - Safety, grooming, basic horse care, riding fundamentals
  • For Experienced Riders:
    • Training, equitation, dressage, hunt seat, western pleasure, competition preparation (See our Horse Show page)

Our show program caters to both the experienced competitor and those who are new to the show ring. For our horses, we focus on producing healthy, successful athletes, creating a positive and long lasting show career. For our riders, we create a positive and safe experience based on correct training and preparation. Silver Birch travels to a range of horse shows, ranging from grassroots schooling shows to national competitions.
